Throughout these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Bored Sheep Shop and Cereal Motel Limited.
These Terms of Service apply when you use our website or place an order with us. They should be read alongside our Return and Refund Policy, Shipping Policy and Privacy Policy.
OUR PRODUCTS
We sell a mixture of pre-owned, vintage and new products. Some items are unique and only one may be available.
We take reasonable care to describe and photograph each product accurately. Pre-owned and vintage items may show signs of age, previous use or wear. Any significant flaws or damage that we identify will be described or shown in the product listing.
Measurements are taken by hand and are approximate. Colours may also appear slightly different depending on lighting, photography and screen settings.
Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights where an item is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or not as described.
ORDERS
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the products in your basket.
An order confirmation acknowledges that we have received your order. A contract between you and us is formed when we accept and dispatch your order.
We may cancel or refuse an order before dispatch where, for example:
• the item is no longer available
• an error has been made in the price or product description
• payment cannot be authorised
• the delivery address is incomplete or outside the area we serve
• we reasonably suspect fraud, misuse or an attempt to purchase for unauthorised resale
Because some products are also sold through other sales channels, an item may occasionally sell elsewhere before our website inventory updates. If this happens, we will cancel the unavailable item and issue a full refund.
PRICES AND PAYMENT
Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include any applicable UK taxes unless stated otherwise.
Delivery charges are displayed separately during checkout before you place your order.
We take reasonable care to ensure prices are accurate. If we discover an obvious pricing error before dispatch, we may contact you for instructions or cancel the affected item and refund any payment made.
Payment must be authorised before an order is dispatched. Payments are processed securely by Shopify Payments or another payment provider shown at checkout. We do not receive or store your complete card details.
DELIVERY
We currently deliver within the United Kingdom only.
Available delivery options, charges and estimated times are shown at checkout and explained in our Shipping Policy.
We aim to dispatch orders within the stated timeframe. Delivery dates are estimates unless we expressly agree otherwise. We are not responsible for delays outside our reasonable control, but we will help investigate delayed or missing tracked parcels.
Please provide a complete and accurate delivery address. We may charge reasonable additional delivery costs if an order has to be sent again because the address supplied was incorrect or incomplete.
CANCELLATIONS, RETURNS AND REFUNDS
Your rights to cancel an online order, return eligible products and receive a refund are explained in our Return and Refund Policy.
For eligible change-of-mind returns, you must notify us within 14 days of receiving your order. After notifying us, you then have a further 14 days to return the item.
Unless an item is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or not as described, you are responsible for the cost of returning it.
Certain products may be excluded from change-of-mind cancellation rights where permitted by law, including clearly personalised products, unsealed hygiene-sensitive goods and digital content where downloading or access has begun with your agreement.
These exclusions do not affect your rights where a product is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or not as described.
FAULTY OR MISDESCRIBED PRODUCTS
We are under a legal duty to supply products that conform to the contract.
If an item is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or materially different from its description, please contact returns@boredsheepshop.com as soon as possible with your order number and details of the problem.
Where appropriate, we will offer the remedy required by UK consumer law. This may include repair, replacement, a price reduction or a refund. We will also cover reasonable return postage costs where we have supplied a faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed item.
CUSTOMER ACCOUNTS
You may be able to create or use a customer account when shopping with us.
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in information secure and for providing accurate, current information. Please contact us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
You may also shop without an account where guest checkout is available.
WEBSITE USE
You may use this website for lawful, personal shopping purposes.
You must not:
• use the website for unlawful or fraudulent purposes
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, customer accounts or related systems
• introduce viruses, malicious code or other harmful technology
• scrape, copy or reproduce substantial parts of the website without permission
• interfere with the website’s security, availability or operation
• submit false, misleading, abusive or offensive material
We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect the website, our customers or our business.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Unless stated otherwise, the content of this website, including our branding, text, graphics, layout and original photography, belongs to us or is used with permission.
You may not reproduce, publish, distribute, sell or commercially exploit this content without prior written permission.
Brand names and trademarks relating to products sold on the website remain the property of their respective owners. Their appearance on our website does not imply that we are affiliated with or endorsed by those owners.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS
Our website is hosted by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform used to sell our products.
The website may contain links to third-party services, including payment providers, delivery companies and social media platforms. Those services may have their own terms and privacy policies.
We are not responsible for the content or availability of third-party websites that we do not control.
PRIVACY
Our collection and use of personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
We use personal information to process orders, provide customer service, prevent fraud and operate the website. Marketing messages are sent only where we have an appropriate lawful basis, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

OUR RESPONSIBILITY TO YOU

If we fail to comply with these terms, we are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of that failure.
We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable when the contract was formed, or for business losses where you purchased as a consumer.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these terms occasionally to reflect changes to our services, business or legal obligations.
The terms applying to an order will be those in force when that order was placed. The latest version will always be available on this page.
GOVERNING LAW
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you live elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also be entitled to bring proceedings in the courts serving the part of the UK in which you live.
